#1 : Blurry / Love the colours & the distortion in this, I so wish I knew who it was by though!
#2 : Frank’N'Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show / One of my all time favourite movies & characters, I have no idea why, but I still have such a huge crush on Tim Curry as Frank…
#3 : Sougwen Chung / So much gorgeous detailing in this, I could stare at it forever!
#4 : Texture mix / Although I’d never wear real fur, I love the mixture of textures here, definitely want to re-create this but in faux!
#5 : Leslie Ann O’Dell / I love how this looks almost too real, but it is a photograph! The use of light & shadow is so painterly, giving that hyper real effect, just beautiful.
#6 : Ann Demeulemeester FW12 / I adored this whole collection, but little details like this are why I love Demeulemeester so much…
#7 : Hazy sky / Those smokey clouds, pinkish sky & that little sliver of moon, so pretty!
#8 : Lonely Hearts underwear set / I still can’t get enough of this underwear, such simple perfection, I wish they had a UK stockist!
#9 : Kim Yeong Jun for Singles Korea ‘The Boy’ / I featured Yeong Jun’s work a few posts ago, this is another of my favourites of his. I’ll always be a huge fan of androgynous looks & this whole editorial is killer!

07.10.12 – 14.10.12 / INSPIRATION

#1 : Minnow Bathers Swimwear at Need Supply Co. / I love the swimsuit, but I think the main reason I love this is the tattoos combined with the retro florals, gorgeous!
#2 : Unknown / Wish I could find where this is from, it’s so striking!
#3 : Nick Knight ‘Flora’ / More Nick Knight! Can’t seem to get enough of him lately, the blackened rainbow of colours on these is just beautiful though.
#4 : Jose Manuel Ferrater & Paz Vega for the 2012 Lambertz Calender/ Adore Paz Vega & all of the images from this calender (for biscuits?!) were seriously beautiful.
#5 : Feline Zegers / Love this girls work, this piece is quite different to the rest of her stuff, but I love the painterly quality & unfinished look to it.
#6 : Alphonse Mucha ‘La Pater’ series / The main originator of the Art Nouveau style, he considered this series his masterpiece. I love anything with slightly religious undertones, and especially pieces like this that portray it as almost cult-like.
#7 : Old Books / I’d love a bookcase filled with old books like this!
#8 : Paolo Roversi ‘Flowers’ / Possibly my favourite photographer, every time I see one of his pieces it just blows me away. I love his very distinctive style too.
#9 : Alexander McQueen Exhibition at The Met Museum / So gutted I never got to see this. One of my favourite McQueen dresses too!

#2 : Merve Kahraman Hybrid Collection / I need one of these, love the slightly surreal, Alice in Wonderland-esque feel of it…
#3 : Dustys & Lulu ‘Beauty Beast’ pillowcases / These would be perfect for me & Ollie!
#4 : Wood flooring made from wine crates / This is such a clever idea & I love the subtle rustic look it has, I’d spend all day walking around reading the text though!
#5 : Scarlett Johansson by Mario Testino / I love Mr. Testino’s work anyway, but I adore this image of Scarlett, she really reminds me of Marilyn here…
#6 : Jessica Silversaga ‘Girl with Wolf’ / Jessica’s work is the perfect blend of dreamy fairytale & darker undertones, I’ve had this image saved for so long now, it is just perfect!
#7 : Lonely Hearts Club / I need more underwear like this in my collection, perfect for layering under sheer tops & dresses…
#8 : Real floral wallpaper / Love this idea!
#9 : Unknown / I think this is such a great image & I used to do this all the time when I was little!

#1 : Unknown / Love this whole image – The pose, the model, the lighting, the minimal styling… so perfect & I kind of want a bird wing head piece now…
#2 : Josie Morway / Beautiful paintings, I especially love her birds & this magpie piece in particular, I’ve always loved magpies!
#3 : Alexey Titarenko’s “City Of Shadows” / Haunting images of Saint Petersburg during the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990′s.
#4 : Eeee, I can’t wait to get to go swimming when we get to Florida next weekend!
#5 : So striking, I’ve always loved raw crystals… Such pretty colours!

#7 : via. The Trend Spotter / Still totally in love with pastel & ombre hair, I only wish I had the balls to try it, I daren’t incase I ruin my hair though… I love how the lips & eyes are matching here too.

#3 : “Bone – Anantomy Illustrated” book by Josip Kelava / In love with this idea of taking 16th-19th C anatomy illustrations & adding a graphic twist! I’m obsessed with these type of illustrations anyway, but the graphic edge makes them seem so fresh!
#4 : Gorilla leggings by Trash / I need these so badly!
#5 : Erupting volcano / Nature is so beautiful & awe inspiring, love the colours here too…
