One of the best things about having a blog is getting to read back through it all at the end of the year and reminisce. From a style point of view, I always like to review the outfits posted too, the ones I loved & those that didn’t work so well. When I did the same for 2012<\/a>, I found it helped a lot in refining my style & figuring out what silhouettes and shapes suited me most. Of course, there were no outfits I hated<\/em> on here, though there were a few I hated enough to never post. These are my 15 favourites from the last year, and comparing it to 2012’s favourites<\/a> I feel you can definitely see the development. <\/p>\n

2013 was the year I stepped out of my comfort zone more, tried things I’d always dismissed as ‘not very me’<\/em> & was surprised with the results. I now have a new found love of hats, and went from owning 1 beanie to 7 of all different kinds, the fedora I was originally scared of trying barely left my head. Prints also worked their way into my wardrobe, and I learned they can be a great accent to black when chosen wisely. I let my dorky side out a little too, pretending to be Jon Snow in my faux fur, channeling Ripley, giving in to galaxy print & prancing around with my unicorn clutch. <\/p>\n

For 2014 I hope to do more of the same, further refining, more experimenting and generally just feeling even more comfortable & confident in my own skin and my choices of what I cover it with. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
