\nBallad Of<\/a> is one of my most favourite independent magazines, featuring fashion editorials, illustrations & art all by new, up and coming artists, their tag line is ‘Brand New Art We Heart’ & the mag is full of super inspiring images by brand new talent. Many of those featured in previous issues have since become well known names, so it’s great to get a sneak peak of who to look out for in the future. I’ve collected the magazine since the very first issue & I love what the girls at Ballad do. It’s amazing to have a magazine solely for fresh talent & such a great platform for them to show off their work & get noticed in such a competitive industry. <\/p>\n

Published bi-annually, with each issue based around a different theme, the next issue ‘Baby K’ the ‘Candy Pop’ issue (which I might<\/em> have a few illustrations in!) is being released on Friday 22nd June & to celebrate they are holding a huge ‘Candy Pop’ themed party! There will be DJ sets throughout the night, lots of dancing, treats & goodie bags for early birds! The party starts at 7pm & is being held at The Old Blue Last, Great Eastern Street, London. Now I just need to decide what to wear… my wardrobe is lacking anything even a little ‘Candy Pop’, as I’m sure most of you would have guessed! I’ll be on the look out for pastel accessories I can use to pretty up my existing wardrobe, though the cover is making me seriously consider a pastel dip dye…<\/p>\n
