I think wearing black lace must bring out my inner sullen goth girl, because I look seriously sulky & creepy in every single photo we took of this outfit! Though I guess the setting, crumbling walled garden, didn’t help much either…<\/p>\n

This has got to be one of my favourite recent buys, it’s everything I loved rolled into one dress. I’ve mentioned before how much I love Three Floor<\/a>, but had never got around to buying any pieces, so when I saw this & the jeweled collar D’vil shirt at 70% off in the BENGT<\/a> sale, I had no excuse & I’ve barely taken it off since! Yeah, technically it’s a size too big, but I kinda like the slouchyness it gives it & I can always take it in a little.<\/p>\n

I love dresses like this that are the perfect mixture between smart & casual, I could easily wear this out to a bar or dinner, but the military detailing & heavy, textured fabric mean that dressed down with tights & stompy boots it’s casual enough for day to day too. The delicate lace is such a nice contrast to the thick fabric & makes it much more interesting with the cutout sections, so here I’ve kept the accessorizing super simple, to really let the beautiful design & cut of the dress speak for it’s self.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
