My hair is getting to that point where it’s looking a bit scruffy on the ends & is in need of a good trim, but I keep putting it off because it’s finally at around that perfect length & I don’t want to loose an inch or so to tidy it up! If anyone has any tips or wonder products for dry, frazzled ends I’d appreciate any recommendations!

This necklace is the one I made myself when I went along to the Cinderela B workshop just before Christmas. I loved the idea of having a few layers in one necklace, making it easy to throw on in the morning & it doesn’t get all tangled up throughout the day either. At the time I chose this simple idea purely because I wasn’t confident I’d be able to do anything more complicated & I hate doing fiddly tasks, but I’m glad I took the easy option, because I’ve gotten so much wear out of it already & that’s always the case with simple, basic pieces for me. If I’d made something more complicated, I know it would still be sitting in it’s pouch waiting for an occasion to wear it.

You did such a good job, that necklace looks lovely on! My hair needs cutting too but I can’t decide if I want to chop loads of it off, I’ll probably regret it as soon as it’s gone haha. Cute location for snaps btw. ;) <3

That’s exactly what happened to me when I chopped mine a few years ago & I’ve spent all this time trying to grow it back! Hah. I know they say it’s only hair & it’ll grow back, but god it takes so long!

I ruined my hair with all the bad hair dyes some time ago and so I used to do a weekly olive oil treatment- just apply some olive oil on your hair tips or full head(except for roots), put a towel on and keep it for an hour/overnight. It makes the hair really soft and helps with the dry ends. Also if you want a hair product, keratin oil is really great. I use keratin oil that I apply on ends after the shower and just blowdry my hair. Hope it helps(:

Thanks Kristina! I will definitely give that a go, I use olive oil for so many things but never thought about putting it on my hair! :)

oh steph this is one of my new faves of you! there’s a really nice ethereal quality to these photos (kudos to ollie – he’s been amazing!). i know what you mean about hair length – i had that issue with mine for ages and finally decided to chop off 8 inches. but for the longest time i was using carol’s daughter monoi split-end sealer which is quite amazing – highly recommended! http://www.carolsdaughter.com/hair/monoi_repairing_split_end_sealer.html

a very small amount of good quality argan oil helps if you happen to have some lying around – i do a little protein treatment every now and then with egg and honey and the occasional trimming of split ends if i see them (just individual strands – haha)

Thankyou! I think we need to use this little spot more often, it always makes for such nice photos :) Thanks for the recommendations too, will definitely look into the split end sealer & love the sound of the egg and honey treatment, I always like using homemade or natural facemasks, so makes sense to do the same for hair too :)

I am so lucky to have such a big & pretty park right on my doorstep, we need to make more use of it for photos :) I have been obsessed with stars/moons/fur .etc too, I think it’s Game of Thrones withdrawals! ;)

such a lovely necklace, well done you!
I know how you feel about cutting your hair! I have the same feeling everytime I go, like the chop too much, but then my hair looks much nicer I admit.

    I don’t do complicated, either.
It’s impossible to tell in the photos that your hair needs a trim; it looks beautiful (and healthy) against your outfit.
And that is one fabulous handbag! The Balenciaga City is iconic – a new classic.

It doesn’t look too bad here, it’s mostly when I brush it kind of tags at the ends, because they’re getting rough & dry. I figure it’s better to treat it now, before it gets worse :)
Totally agree about the Balenciaga, I wouldn’t even think twice about replacing this with an identical one when the time comes, worth every penny.
