‘God Loves Fangs’ Kasun London
The latest collection from Kasun London is inspired by tales of vampires & the mythological ideas that surround them. Fanged skulls, claws, teeth & an array of the tools used to vanquish them as told in myth & legend are presented in 18ct gold vermeil, sterling silver & intricately cut onyx.
I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised to hear that I’m a huge fan of the whole vampire legend and the books, TV shows & movies that have been spawned from it (well, except that one…) so the idea of wearing a subtle nod to this really appeals to me. It’s also refreshing to see a brand take this theme & produce something very mature & elegant. The pieces are perfectly understated without any extra fuss or frills, implying their concept, but expertly avoiding falling into the usual trap of it feeling cliche & quite tacky. My favourite piece has to be the geometric ‘Vampire Heart’ necklace, with it’s delicate removable dagger, though the skulls & the statement ‘Vampire Bite’ ring are very close behind.

I am loving these pieces and the inspiration behind them! They remind me of some of the Alchemy Gothic necklaces that I own as I love anything mythological/supernatural :) I really like the vampire heart necklace most and the nested pearl ring from the Endless Beginnings colleciton I will need to save up for this it looks incredible! Thanks for sharing this brand really loving the designs and craftsmanship x
