Finally the first glimpses of Spring & some proper sunshine, after the last few weeks of gloom it was a nice surprise to wake up to such lovely weather & so of course we had to make the most of it. I must admit though, it was only warm enough to walk around in just this dress for about an hour, and then I did have to put my cardigan over the top. It was so nice after having spent months bundled up in layers upon layers to have my arms out, if only for an hour!
This dipped hem dress is one of my recent favourite buys, it’s perfectly simple, but with a little added drama thanks to the hem & voluminous draped shape. I actually have two others dresses that look similar to this, but the lightness, extra volume & beautiful fabric of this one meant it was definitely a keeper. I finally got my hands on a new pair of Wayfarers too thanks to Pret A Voir, you just can’t beat a classic & these are the ultimate.

Beautiful Steph, I love how flowly that dress is! I only own Clubmasters and some Aviators but I do need a pair of real Wayfarers! I only have a pair of Thailand specials from back in the day which I can’t bring myself to wear on UK soil. Ray-Bans always remind me of Robert Pattinson in Twilight…SWOON. ;)

AHHH THIS DRESS!!!! I love the volume to it!! Love the necklace as well as the classic Raybans. I’m such a fan of sunnies, esp classic wayfarers. I always feel like I need more sunglasses in my life (not that I actually do) lol

Nothing like a classic pair of black wayfarer’s! Ummm that dress. Holy moly that is gorgeous on you. Such a beautiful trapeze cut and it just drapes perfectly. I’ve been looking for something like this, that won’t make me look like a whale but the fact that this is ASOS. Holy shit! You always manage to find the most amazing pieces there.

Proper sunshine is always nice! I love the wayfers on you, I have one as well and I wear it a lot during the summer time ignoring my other sunnies. The asymmetric dress looks like fun with its volume and asymmetrical hem, you pull it off gracefully xx

Gorgeous dress. I recently got a similar dip hem dress by Solace on ASOS. It’s a low back and plunge neckline though. But similar shape to this with similar material. LOVE IT! I still don’t think there’s enough black in my wardrobe – currently in the market for a black jumpsuit or playsuit so came over to FAIIINT for inspiration. Where else would I go teehee? :)

i’ve been wanting a pair for ages! tried on the folding versions a while ago and haven’t been able to get them out of my mind. they look really good on you, such a classic shape too so i’m sure you’re going to get a lot of wear out of these! that dress is amazing too steph, you always pick out such nice details. i love the tent-like shape and that necklace is perfect to finish it off x
