The lovely Rosie from Boohoo got in touch a little while ago asking if I’d like to be part of their blogger campaign for the #Globalstyler competition. I never usually enter competitions, or promote them on here, but the prize for this one is too amazing not to give it a shot & I urge all of you to have a go too!

I picked out this beautiful striped shirt dress to wear & honestly haven’t been able to stop wearing it since it arrived. I used to wear stripes a lot (I blame my Warhol obsession!) so as soon as I saw this I knew it was the perfect excuse to rekindle my love for them. The stripes look as though they’ve been painted on, with wobbly edges instead of being very harsh & graphic, which I love, it makes it feel just a little softer. The asymmetric hem & layers are what really drew me to it though, I’m always a sucker for both, but I think here they work so perfectly with the stripes & make it look much more expensive than the tiny £18 it costs.

Anyway, onto the competition! The prize is an incredible trip of a lifetime to any destination of your choice for you and a friend + spending money too! Anyone from the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the USA can enter & all you need to do is take a photo of yourself wearing Boohoo, with the speech bubble & upload it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #Globalstyler.

    I love this dress! I esp. love it paired with the draped jacket. The cut and flow the dress is perfect as well.

    First of all this white and black stripe looks so good on you, second wow what a real give way I would be promoting too, thas like unreal! I hope you win it. I never win anything(yes I am a pessimistic), you know secret santas and gifts exchanges, yes well I always get a pencil ahhahahaha x

      Thankyou! I really need some more stripes now, I’ve missed wearing them a lot!
      I’m exactly the same, I’ve never won anything in my life, so I doubt I’ll win, but anything to help me travel the world is definitely worth a shot, especially when it’s this easy! :)
      I actually once got a pencil sharpener for a secret santa at school, I was so annoyed, so I know how you feel! Hahah!
