OS Accessories

OS is a handcrafted accessories line based in the Philippines using polyurethane to produce hyper realistic reproductions of bones for necklaces, harnesses & rings. The reproductions look & feel like real bone, giving the pieces a raw, almost primitive kind of beauty. Yet, they also feel incredibly modern, thanks to the pristine, milky white colouring that is without the usual blemishes, scars & imperfections you’d find on real bone.

The vertebrae choker is easily my favourite piece & is going straight onto my wishlist. You know how much I love a ‘conversation piece’ & this is definitely one of those, plus I imagine it would look seriously striking against my usual all black. The other pieces are equally as beautiful though, and with my love, borderline obsession for bones & anatomy in general, I get the feeling I may end up amassing a small collection of their pieces…

Wow, those are really striking pieces of jewellery! I fell for the ‘cluster of bones’ necklace and the ‘crossbone’ necklace. They are really unique – I’ve never seen anything like them! The only thing I can vaguely relate to them is the Vivienne Westwood bone jewellery – I lusted after the bracelet for the longest time, but since it was sold out and you can never be sure of authenticity elsewhere, I had to give up! I was surprised by how affordable these pieces are, I really expected them to cost more. I think you’re right in the fact that they would look very striking with your usual black outfits :) xx

Oh OS! They’ve been around for a while and it’s so great to see them being featured in various blogs. The owners are really nice and creative. I think OS pieces look great when worn by themselves, seeing as they’re such unique statement pieces. Looks best with black!
