Todd Lynn x Topshop Tux Jacket / LOVE Drape Side Top * / ASOS Snood / Meltin’ Pot B-Side Jeans * / Kurt Geiger Wedges / Balenciaga City Bag

Winter is definitely in full swing now, gloomy, dark days & bitter cold winds. I hate to give up my jackets just because it’s turned a bit arctic though, so my secret is discrete layering – a thermal tee under my top, and wool tights beneath my jeans & I’m just as snug as if I were bundled up in a heavy coat.

These jeans are probably one of my favourite items of clothing recently, as they have a very novel surprise – they’re totally reversible! Made from the softest denim twill they are a basic, premium quality jean from the outside, but turn them inside out & they have an all over subtle bronze leopard print! I was skeptical of just how ‘reversible’ they would be, assuming one side would clearly look like the wrong side but they have employed so many clever solutions that it’s impossible to tell the difference. Tags are sewn inside the back pockets, seams are inclosed inside & out, the button is a popper and the zipper works from both sides. As someone interested in sewing & making, I must have turned them inside out 10 times or more, pouring over these clever little tricks! I’ll be posting the leopard side soon so you can see what I mean!

I also just want to mention these Kurt Geiger wedges, I know they’re quite shamelessly ‘inspired’ by the Rick Owens ones, but as I unfortunately can’t justify another pair at the moment I couldn’t pass these up at such a ridiculous price. Soft nubuck leather, super comfortable & 80% off (down to £39!), how could I say no?! If you have a shoe addiction, I’ll apologize to your bank account now for directing you to Shoeaholics, Kurt Geiger’s outlet site, I’ve already brought 3 pairs from there myself in the past few months…

Wow, I’ve seen a few reversible jeans floating around but never quite got them, though the ones I’ve seen online are from ‘cheaper’ stores so I always doubt they’d work or be half as nice as yours. It’s kind of a cool concept, reversible pants, having a pair that fit awesome and two different styles to wear. That’s ‘winning’ to me hahaha! But I think I’ll reserve it for when I can see it and stuff.

Yeah, I honestly assumed they’d be kinda crap, but so surprised! Will be posting the opposite side in the new year, I love that one side’s plain & black, and the other is kinda more fun! :)

I wish we had snow, I think I’d feel happier about the dull days if we did – instead of the constant pouring rain here! I’m wishing for some sun again now too!

I was honestly so surprised by them! I love when I find something that really gets my mind thinking about the way it’s been put together, so clever! I actually love leopard print, but think it’s always hard to find a good one, I can’t wait to show you guys the opposite side! :)

Another superb outfit by you! I have always adored the way of how you are layering your outfits, because this is an essential part (like you said) not to freeze in these gloomy days!
I have never had reversible clothing, but it surely sounds fun, because it means a lot of more outfit choices!
And I am so much in love with your booties- they’re perfect!

You always manage to look so stylish even in the coldest of weather Steph, even with several layers on I can’t bare the cold without a big coat! Again I have to say I love your drape-y top, you always find the most perfect clothes for layering – I’m so jealous. I did buy the gorgeously draped Anaconda cardigan in the All Saints outlet the other day for the bargain sum of £7, with the hope of layering it up somehow. I’m so glad this isn’t my first encounter with Shoeaholics because my bank balance could seriously not hack it right now! I discovered it a couple of months ago and ordered a pair of boots for my mum’s birthday, and a pair of flatforms that my mum has bought me for Christmas :) the prices are too good to resist – I don’t even dare look now!! xxx

A cardi for £7?! I seriously need to visit this outlet, it sounds amazing! I totally agree, I haven’t dared look at shoeaholics again myself, the prices are too good it makes it soo hard to resist, and my bank account is officially maxed out till after xmas now!
