Last week I was invited down to preview the revamped Yumi store in Notting Hill, which has been given a complete makeover to properly match the classic but quirky aesthetic of the brand. I was kindly allowed to choose a few pieces & as soon as I saw this cape in beautiful oxblood & black ombre wool I knew it was coming home with me! These are not currently up online, but keep your eyes peeled as they should be very soon & are a complete steal at £30, plus they come in lots of other colours & patterns too. I’ve already taken to curling up on the sofa with mine when I get in & I’m looking forward to layering it over more pieces as the temperature drops.

I was also introduced to the wonderful Phoebe Jewellery recently, and I can’t wait to show you guys a few more of her pieces later in the week. For now though, a little peek at the stunning double moon & star ring, dotted with moonstones it’s had everyone who’s seen it cooing over how pretty it is this last week and the mixed silver & gold star stacking rings too, all handmade by Phoebe in her Lewes based studio.

Not sure there are two better colours to fade than black and oxblood. Seriously beautiful.

Oh I think I need that cape. Looks so cosy! I have this weird thing where I don’t really like long sleeved tops especially if I’m working so I tend to drape blankets over my shoulders when it’s cold. This will be perfect for me!

That cape looks so comfortable and warm! I especially love the star and moon details. They’re delicate and feminine but still very cute and fun. :)

The colors on the scarf are just gorgeous! Great choice with the fur snood too, goes well with the way you styled your hair.

The cape is beautiful! Always a bit sad to see the Yumi site isn’t available in The Netherlands though, although it helps me save money ;)
