FAIIINT Cropped Leather Jacket / Pepe Jeans x Andy Warhol Soup Can Tee c/o Zalando * / River Island Draped Skirt /
Skin by Finsk Laced Wedges / H&M Choker / Balenciaga City

Since high school I have been obsessed with Andy Warhol, I would even go as far as to call him my idol, so naturally I’ve been meaning to get my hands on some of the Pepe Jeans x Andy Warhol collaboration for a while now, though I could never find anywhere in the UK to buy it.

Whilst browsing through Zalando a few weeks ago I actually squealed in excitement when I saw they stocked the collection & couldn’t pass up the chance to own this tee! I love the simplicity of the ‘print’, which is actually embroidered on, it reminds me of his scribbled sketches & the quirky detailing such as the bright blue binding inside the neck & hem, raw edges & the baby soft fabric make it feel really special & I can easily imagine it’ll be something I wear to death!

These Finsk wedges are my latest favourite purchase, I brought them from their London sample sale just before Christmas & have been wearing them everywhere since. You all know by now that I’m kind of obsessed with the brand & have quite a collection of them, these are my first pair from their new sister line ‘Skin by Finsk’ though & I love that they’re a bit more understated & ‘everyday’ than the mainline. This is one of my favourite things about the brand, the way they combine style & functionality, they’re like little works of art but are also some of the comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned, even their monster wedges which look like a total nightmare to walk in, are comfortable enough to wear all day!

The jacket is one of my own, it’s not perfect, but it’s the most used of the pieces I made during my degree because it’s pretty much my dream jacket; cropped, buttery leather, draped, subtle anatomical detailing & super versatile. It’s been featured here quite a few times now & my favourite thing about it is that it looks totally different depending if it’s zipped up or not, you can see it done up here. I really need to get around to making a more ‘perfect’ version of it when I get chance…

This skirt is amazing and I love that tee! I love how the clothes you wear are quite ‘architectural’- they have so many dimensions which I absolutely love!

Andy was def the starter of all this celebrity and pop sensation. I really enjoy his art and had the pleasure to see some live for the first time last year at an art gallery/museum. Pretty amazing. And the top looks great on you, but what I love the most here is the cropped jacket xx

Totally agree, he’s such an icon. I’ve seen a lot of his pieces in person, but I really want to go to Pittsburgh someday to visit the Warhol museum, it looks incredible!

that’s a cool skirt and love the weird biker neck on the jacket.
Shame about the MMM for HM shoes, what size do you wear?? Bigger than an 8? (I got a 7).

Yeah, I’m usually a UK 7, but sometimes an 8 as I have wide feet. I brought the 7’s but they felt more like 5’s on me, I couldn’t even squeeze my feet into them like I usually can with 6’s! :(

Oh the soup can tee – how wonderful. Quite possibly my fave Andy Warhol print, so iconic and so classic. Looks great paired with this otherwise very dark outfit, and LOVE the look of your leather jacket. Gorgeous!

My favourite is the electric chair print, but I do love the soup cans too, how could you not, they’re such an iconic piece of pop culture! :) And so glad you like the jacket, it’s such a nice little boost to hear people love things that you’ve made, so thankyou! :)

I’ve not heard of the Andy Warhol collab before and I wish I had earlier! Your top is awesome. I love that it’s embroidered instead of printed to make it even more special. Plus you seriously have the most amazing talent, your jacket is just perfect! It must be amazing to be able to make custom clothes to fit exactly. xx

Ahh, thankyou Jenny! :) It is nice to be able to make things, but as with any skill like that, I rarely find the time to actually sit down & make things for myself these days, there’s never enough hours in the day… It is one of my goals for this year though, so hopefully you’ll see more bits on here soon! :)
And yeah, I thought it was a print when I ordered it, so when it arrived & I saw it was so beautifully embroidered it was such a nice surprise!

This tee looks perfect with the rest of the outfit and I’m so glad you found it! In recent times I’ve become a fan of printed tee because they ‘dress-down’ a formal jacket very easily and can give a playful touch to a serious ensemble. Maybe I told you before, but the leather jacket is so Rck Owens…love it!

Yeah, I love a good printed tee too for those exact reasons! I think you have, but it is still the best compliment ever, as in my eyes he is king of the leather jacket & I dream of getting to own one of his! So, to have mine compared to his makes me super happy! :)

It’s just little things like the stitching’s a bit wonky where I rushed it, the sleeves are a little short for me (it was fitted to a model & it seems she had short arms?! lol!)… Things that most people wouldn’t notice but I do cos I know exactly where they are, if that makes sense?
Ohh, that’s so exciting! If you need any help/advice with it, feel free to drop me an email! Look forward to seeing what you make with it! :)
