The past few days I have been super tempted to just wrap up & hibernate indoors until the weather finally decides to behave, but that’s pretty much impossible when you have a husky & there’s snow outside. I’ve never seen a dog so excited by the snow until we got Nico (see his little happy face!), he would sit outside in it all day if he could. We decided we might as well make the most of having to be outside to walk Nico & use it as an excuse for an outfit post too, plus I know how much you all love him & he’s not been in a post for a while now…

You’re probably more used to seeing me in heels, but these Converse are easily one of my most worn pairs of shoes & I’m a huge fan of sneakers, especially white ones. I love the totally mono colourway of these, without even a hint of coloured trim & the leather just makes them even more perfect. They are completely battered, they’ve seen festivals, gigs, plenty of dog walks, holidays, trips & summers lazing around at the park. They’ve been chucked in the washing machine more times than I can count, they’re scuffed on every inch & the white paint is wearing off them, but I love them to bits & will happily wear them until they fall off my feet. I’ve always hated pristine looking sneakers anyway, I think they’re the kind of shoes that look so much better a little beaten up, each flaw reminding you of all the amazing times you’ve had wearing them.

    I think black is your colour! I like so much the monochrome outfit with a splash of white in the shoes! Converse are the most comfortable and easy-to-wear shoes in the world! I love your beanie as well!

    Gosh these photos really are just magical. I love the falling snow – something I’m yet to experience. Your dog is the cutest by the way. And.. I need to get me some cons, I like your version, as you say, so subtle as they are all white, and of course, they always look better a bit worn in! x

      Ahh, I can’t imagine never having experienced snow! It is really fun, but after the first few days it gets a bit annoying, especially in the UK where the tiniest bit & everything comes to a standstill! Hah! I would definitely recommend getting some cons, you’ll wonder what you ever did without them once you have a pair! :)

      Glad everyone seems to be with me on them being best beaten up! When I asked Ollie to do a shoe photo of them he was like ‘Of those?! They’re a mess!’ haha! Hope the snow stays away for Freddy!

    When I got a new pair of Converse, my boyfriend was alarmed to see me immediately go and walk through as much dirt and mud as possible – because like you, I prefer them beaten up! I’ve always gone for the classic black/white Cons, but seeing the all white version you’re wearing definitely makes me want to add to my collection!

    Nico is heaven – so wolflike.

      Ahh, I do this too! I think this pairs first outing were at a music festival, because I knew they’d get covered in mud, they were far too white & bright!
      They do this same style but in black leather too, which are beautiful & also on my wishlist. I’m not really sure why I like the white so much when almost everything else I own is black!

    Nico is absolutely gorgeous!! At the weekend on our day out in the snow, all the dogs around just made me wish we had one! You look amazing too – the outfit combinations you come up with are things I’d never think of, but you look so great in everything you choose. Love those Converse, and I agree, battered trainers are the best kind :) xxx

      Aww, haha! :) So many people say this to me actually, they say we look ‘alike’ – all pale white skin, big black eyes ringed with eyeliner & black coats! Haha! ;)
