Demobaza AW13

August 7th 2013 Covet

Demobaza AW13 collection, draped, grunge, gothic, dark styleDemobaza AW13 collection, draped, grunge, gothic, dark style

Demobaza Autumn/Winter 2013

We are only just getting a little summer here, but Demobaza’s AW13 collection is having me dreaming of cooler days and wrapping up under layers of moth eaten, deconstructed jerseys & knits. These are the type of clothes I’d want to be wearing, should I find myself in some desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland. They instantly conjure in my mind images straight out of The Road, with a good hint of scifi thrown in, of solitary nomads wandering across vast barren landscapes.

Based out of Bulgaria, Demo and Tono the brains behind the brand describe it as ‘Statement designs with minimal and futuristic looks, expressed in cool sporty shapes. A Uniform built of trashy and deconstructed looking elements’.

You can buy the pieces directly from their store, or they are also stocked at Luisaviaroma, and surprisingly the prices are very reasonable, the coats being the most expensive at around £360. The knits & wraps are what I have my eye on though, and their awesome neoprene leggings too, I don’t know how anyone could put a pair of those on & not feel like a total badass.

I forgot about this brand! I’ve been a fan of their creations for awhile specially when I found them on LuisaViaRoma ages ago. They’re like Rick Owens on steroids. And much more affordable than RO too. Glad that your post reminded me of their work again.

Amazing F/W 2013 looks also, you’re right about it being perfectly worn in a post apocalyptic situation. Maybe if Resident Evil made a movie again the fashion department crew should consider these. The pieces would look amazing and badass on Milla Jovovich while killing zombies!

Ah, glad it put them back on your radar! :) The prices really surprised me, not exactly cheap, but I really expected them to be much more expensive.
YES! They are soo Resident Evil – I would love to see Milla dressed head to toe in these looks! Though she could make pretty much anything look badass I think!

WOW! I just love the designs very unique and warrior god/goddess like and your right these do remind you of post-apocalyptic clothing I think I have fallen in love with this brand :O I just love the jackets and coats and something I would feel great in to wear all the time its what I have been long searching for in unique design and would love to have the skill to make things similar to this. The fabrics and shapes are mind blowing, I will be saving up the pennies for a jacket from this range just wish it was cheaper but I am not complaining ;-)

I know right?! I came across them & just went ‘I want everything!’
It would always be nicer if things were cheaper, but they look really good quality & so I think worth the price. As soon as I’m off my spending ban I will be treating myself too. Let me know if you get something! :)

Um this collection is so badass. I don’t know if I’m badass enough to wear it but I would def. try to rock it. I can really see you pulling off all of these looks though. For some reason it reminds me of a video game…

Yeah, they’re out of my budget currently too :( But I think for the level of detail & construction they are definitely worth that price. I’ve seen plain, boring leggings for twice that. I shall be saving up for them I think, I know I’d get a lot of wear from them!

Yes, definitely videogame-esque! Maybe that’s why I like them so much?! ;) I’m totally in love with the shawls & knits too, love the draping & the texture on the plaited one especially, so perfect!
