This is a bit of a selfish wishlist, it’s that time of the year where all of my spare cash goes on other people & leaves none behind for shopping myself, so this is a little hint of what I’ve had my eye on recently, and would love to find under my tree! I have to admit, I’m a pretty annoying person to buy presents for & most of my friends & family have now learnt to play it safe & just give me cash or gift vouchers, and Ollie asks me for a list! It’s never quite the same as unwrapping a surprise though.
I’m still dreaming about the AllSaints ‘Keiko’ boots, which I mentioned a little while ago, they are pure boot perfection in my eyes with their angular shape & beautifully textured leather. Bracher Emden’s ‘Lucy’ bag is another one of those pieces that’s still stuck in my mind all this time later, I fell in love when I first saw it in their showroom & I think after Christmas I may have to finally treat myself & add another of their gorgeous bags to my growing collection!
I’ve also found myself wanting almost everything black from French Connection, a store that until this year I never checked out, and even kind of turned my nose up at. They seem to have had a serious overhaul though, and their latest collection is full of great pieces, feeling a little like a cross between Reiss & AllSaints. I’ve been wanting to add more lace to my wardrobe, and this lace trim skirt is now high on my list, I like that it’s quite subtle & not overly girly.
I know it’s winter, but I would still love a pair of MinkPink’s cateyes, a classic shape but with round lenses inside they’re a cuter counterpart to my usual styles. I really need to find myself a pair of reading glasses too, I want to stick to my usual cateye shape and there are some lovely ones on stores like BonLook, but I’d like a slightly more modern, plainer version. Why is glasses shopping so much harder than sunglasses shopping?!

I think this time of year is so hard in terms of you’re searching for all these wonderful gifts for everyone and spending your money on everyone else (which I do love!!), but you don’t get to buy any of these amazing things that you’ve been hunting for for yourself. That’s where wishlists like this really come in handy, especially if someone who will buy you a gift happens to read your wishlist. It’s lovely to get something you want for Christmas, but I agree, a surprise is always nice too :) I love the sparkly French Connection dress, the sparkles are subtle enough for it not to be over the top, and it’s such a great price. I really love the Bracher Emden bags, the Black Smooth Geo Tote is my favourite. The angular shape of those All Saints boots really caught my eye, they’re very unusual! xxx
