These were taken a few days ago when the weather had turned a bit miserable again, though I’m not going to moan, as it’s been back to sunshine since then & I don’t want to jinx it! At least it gave me another opportunity to wear my chunky cardigan & fuzzy jacket before hopefully packing them away for the season.
You may notice these shots aren’t up to the usual standard around here, Ollie forgot the charger for his main camera & so we decided to use the little Nikon D200, it was his first DSLR & now it lives with me as my ‘learning’ camera. It works well for details & the things I use it for, but to be honest I thought the full length shots would turn out awful. I’m actually pretty impressed though, obviously it’s not a patch on the D4 but I still think they came out decently, especially considering it’s almost 10 years old!

it’s amazing how far cameras have come in such a short time. honestly i dont know how you use a learning camera when you know the higher end model is capable of way better shots (what happened in my case with my boyfriends mark2 vs my rebel xti) learn fast and borrow my friend!

I just love those strappy sandals they look incredible especially with the block wedge heel <3 just love this outfit and how you layer the draped pieces with the claw necklace :) I think the quality looks amazing and you should keep up learning more about the camera as it's pretty fun! I always love going out and taking landscape/nature photography and playing around with different settings :D I am not that great though, I would say my partner has a better idea of how everything works as it can get confusing with the different settings xx

i love that fuzzy jacket! this is coming from someone whose blog name is absolutely fuzzy – hahaha. i definitely don’t wear enough fuzzy things :) i know exactly what you mean about the camera since i got myself a full frame, but it’s a solid camera to learn on and nikons have better placement when it comes to ISO/aperture/shutter speed buttons than canons do. i found my nikon so much easier to shoot with!
