#1 : Minnow Bathers Swimwear at Need Supply Co. / I love the swimsuit, but I think the main reason I love this is the tattoos combined with the retro florals, gorgeous!
#2 : Unknown / Wish I could find where this is from, it’s so striking!
#3 : Nick Knight ‘Flora’ / More Nick Knight! Can’t seem to get enough of him lately, the blackened rainbow of colours on these is just beautiful though.
#4 : Jose Manuel Ferrater & Paz Vega for the 2012 Lambertz Calender/ Adore Paz Vega & all of the images from this calender (for biscuits?!) were seriously beautiful.
#5 : Feline Zegers / Love this girls work, this piece is quite different to the rest of her stuff, but I love the painterly quality & unfinished look to it.
#6 : Alphonse Mucha ‘La Pater’ series / The main originator of the Art Nouveau style, he considered this series his masterpiece. I love anything with slightly religious undertones, and especially pieces like this that portray it as almost cult-like.
#7 : Old Books / I’d love a bookcase filled with old books like this!
#8 : Paolo Roversi ‘Flowers’ / Possibly my favourite photographer, every time I see one of his pieces it just blows me away. I love his very distinctive style too.
#9 : Alexander McQueen Exhibition at The Met Museum / So gutted I never got to see this. One of my favourite McQueen dresses too!

I always love your inspiration posts, they’re so pretty! I am loving the swimsuit at the top, it’s such a gorgeous pattern. The old books photo actually reminds me of the library at my university… it’s quite magical! xx

Hello Stephanie, how are you? First of all, I wanted to thank you for the nice comments while I was away…You inspiration posts are always such an interesting mix of style, art and music. I particularly liked the delicate pastel tones over the black&white predominance of your photo collages. The last three pictures were my favourite: old books, Paolo Roversi and the McQueen exhibition…couldn’t ask for more or better choices!

Hi Caterina! I’m good thankyou & no problem, it’s been lovely to see all of your holiday photos & so glad you had a nice time! :)
I’m glad people appreciate the inspiration posts, I think it’s a nice way to add a little of my other favourite things (art & music) to the blog whilst still keeping it fashion related, I’d get bored if it was just outfit post after outfit post! ;)

I love images 1 & 5 the most. The style of those tattoo’s are what I aspire to have. Love the colours in Feline Zegers painting, will look into more of what she has done.

Yes! I love that most, I can be flipping through a magazine & just go, ‘Roversi’ without looking at the credits. Such a rare thing these days! I always find his work quite haunting in how beautiful it is too.
