OnePiece ‘Lillehammer’ Grey Onesie *
You may have seen my moaning tweets about feeling a little ill yesterday, stuffed up sinuses, migraines & the fact the weather has been miserable & rainy means I’ve spent the last few days feeling sorry for myself at home & so I have no proper outfit to show you today. I thought I’d do something a little different, and I know you guys love Nico, so any excuse to include him – I think he’s trying to do his best ‘blue steel’ face here for you all!
I’d like to pretend that when I’m slobbing around the house it’s in black leggings, jersey dresses & drapey knits (that’s my working from home outfit) but the truth is when I’m feeling rough, or having a day off there is nothing better than cuddling up in a onesie… I actually have a few of them, and this seems to surprise people when I tell them for some reason! I guess they think everything I own is black, even my PJ’s, but the truth is they’re Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Hello Kitty ones, I’m all about comfort when it comes to house wear & I like to give in to my dorky side with it too!
I couldn’t resist the traditional print on this one, it makes me feel like I’m at some snowy lodge, about to layer my ski suit over the top to go out & hit the slopes. The fact it’s thicker than the others I own & is fleece lined means it’s ridiculously warm & snuggly too. It couldn’t have arrived at a better time either, I’m booked in for an enzyme facial peel tomorrow morning, so I’ll be spending a long weekend hiding my face whilst it heals, cuddled up on the sofa with Nico, reading & working my way through a stack of my favourite movies. I’m hoping it will help get my skin back on track, but I honestly don’t know what to expect, so if any of you have experience with them do let me know, I’m a little scared!

Waaaaah NICO! Gosh what a handsome fella, I love this picture of you guys. So adorable. I hope you feel better soon and the facial goes well, I’ve never even had a facial before – shocking. Your onesie looks so comfortable, I really like the print you picked.

I just love the photo you both look great haha I really like the print you picked and never heard of this brand before :O It looks super cosy though, I hope you get better soon. I had the cold last week :( I used to love ninja turtles and would definitely add Alien or some comedy I love Seth Rogan or Adam Sandler films comedy is always great when your feeling ill and down :) Also I have never heard of an enzyme facial it sounds interesting and I will have to see what it is as I have blemish prone skin and really want to try something that will help as it’s always a trouble for me would love to know how you get on x

Thanks Jenny! :) It’s that annoying time of year, I always get a cold around now! And I did end up watching a few comedies too :) I will be posting a review of the facial, I’m really pleased with the results! It seems to be the type of thing that you need to keep up though, to really benefit from it.

That’s a lovely onesie! I admit I dont have any, my favourite winter PJ’s are those super warm 2 piece ones from Primark.

He is! :) Yeah, I love cosy PJ’s especially at this time of year, always comfort over style when it comes to house wear! I ended up watching Elf for a bit of a christmas fix, gotta love Will Ferrel!

He is such a poser, especially when he knows there’s treats involved! ;) I think I use my PJs to get all the colour/print/dorky urges out of my system, otherwise they might spill over into my daywear! Ha!

Any post with Nico is a good post. And I like your cozy at-home attire! I’m on the hunt for something similar, in fact. Funny, people are surprised at my answer, too, when I tell them my fitness and lounge attire is not always black. ;)
